Definitely NOT The Full Story

About

We're learning every day about ourselves, our respective fields, and each other...

The world is a university, and everyone in it is a teacher. Make sure when you wake up in the morning you go to school. ~Bishop T.D. Jakes

Ed

Ed has had an impressive 35-year career as a highly-skilled marriage and family therapist. He has worked with every type of person under the sun: adults, teens, children, successful business people, drug addicts and alcoholics, entrepreneurs, artists, actors, doctors, teachers, and first responders. He's worked with the very rich and the very poor. They all had something in common, they wanted to make changes in their life. He has curated his unique style by studying all things human and training with many other leaders in the field.

Ed's warm sense of humor and empathetic demeanor put his clients at ease, allowing them to open up and explore in a safe and supportive environment. He has mastered identifying the root causes of his client's issues and developing personalized plans and guidance to help them achieve their goals to make lasting transformational changes.

US

We met in 1989 when Toni visited a friend at Ed's workplace, a psychiatric halfway house. She had a bird on her shoulder, and Ed was "doing stairs," exercising by running up and down the four-story fire escape. We both knew something was different and special when we noticed each other. We married in 1993 and quickly had 4 kids. Our marriage is built on Ed's endless energy and need to learn, learn, learn and Toni's need for creativity and beauty. We love as hard as we argue, work out frustrations, define and redefine expectations, and work out more frustrations. We require friendship from each other, expect respect, apologize, and forgive. We cherish our shared experiences of raising really smart, successful, interesting, talented, and hard-working kids and memories of lost family members and friends; humor is the glue that keeps it all together. Without humor, life would be so much harder. Life is never boring, and we still choose each other every day.

Toni

Toni started her art career right out of high school as a professional photographer for over 25 years. She has used her creative vision in many art endeavors through the years and as an amateur interior designer in our offices and homes.

Toni later shifted her career and started working at a hospital on the oncology and palliative care floor. This experience led to the evolution of a mediumship career; it turned out to be an education in futility, trying to dodge energy from spirit unsuccessfully. Ultimately, she realized she needed to learn to listen to them and deliver their messages.

Additionally, she added medical intuition and teaching intuitive development to her resume and has found fulfillment in this path, especially since it gives her an opportunity to work and collaborate with Ed.
